Cous Cous basil, tuna & mint

Everybody at least once in their lives have tried the tasty dish of cous cous!
Usually this dish is remembered for his Arab origins طعام , this is a typical food of North Africa (in Berber is called Seksu), but do not forget our origins of Sicily! In fact, in southern Italy, the cous cous was often accompanied by fish as in the recipe that I am going to show!!.

 

 

  • 100 g of cous cous for each person
  • 1 box of natural tuna
  • 4 leaves of mint, chopped
  • 6  medium leaves of basil finely chopped
  • Salt and olive oil
  • Black olives
  • That’s it guys!!!!!

Begin to prepare the cous cous by putting water in a large pot and large, bring to a boil, then pour a teaspoon of salt, add the cous cous to rain, two tablespoons of oil, stir and then turn off the heat. Leveled well cous cous with a spoon and let stand for 2 minutes so the flour absorbs the water.Then turn off the heat and, using a fork, good grainy cous cous  that leave aside. Prepare the basil, finely chopped, add the tuna left natural and add to the cous cous now cold.

tip: if combined sparkling drink the effect of mint is tripled!!
